Like a bomb Avid released Pro Tools 9 just a couple of days ago onto to the world.
This seems to be the most significant upgrade for Pro Tools in the last 10 years. Finally (and I can´t stress that enough), finally we do not need specific hardware just to be able to open the program. Now all you need is the software to begin mixing and you can use any audio inteface you want to for recording.
Also, like a bucket of cherries on top of a cake, we now get many of the features that were exclusive to the Pro Tools HD in the much more wallet friendly Pro Tools 9. Features like:
Fender recently released a sleek new line of guitars called the Fender Black Top Series.
Their classics Telecaster®, Jazzmaster® and Jaguar® will all be included in the Fender Black Top Series. All of the Black Tops feature over-wound alnico humbucking pickups that should be able to bring all sorts of awesome sound goodness.
These good looking guitars certainly look very riff friendly.
There is just something brilliant about the musical image that they can create!

I can not express in words how great I think Spotify is. It truly changed how people consume music. Also it gives fresh artist a complete new way to make it in one of the worlds hardest industries.
Sure there are some kinks that need to be worked out! But the ability to have access to so much music in the palm of my hand via Iphone is just awesome!
